Fact Checking

Since there seems to be some doubt that Marita and I are actually traveling together somewhere foreign-looking, here's a pic of us during our first day in Beijing.



While our relaxed appearance makes it look like we're in heaven, we're actually at the temple of heaven, the largest temple of heavenly devotion, measuring in at 2.7 million square meters (for the Americans estimating out there, that's just around 500 NFL regulation football fields). It was built in the 1400's, and takes approximately forever to explore all the amazing architecture.
