Three, two, one...
Who knew that the day could come so quickly? We leave in four hours from Sea-Tac airport, after spending one last night of luxury in downtown Seattle.
The past few days have been spent with my parents in Richland. The highlight of that stay was visiting my mom's classroom of third-graders to tell them about our trip. Although we had to clarify that Arizona, Georgia, California, Texas, and New York are different states, not countries, the kids seemed to follow what we're doing. It sounds like they're excited about hearing more from us while we're on the road.
Other than playing "teachers for a day," we spent our time finishing the details of our preparation: leaving copies of our documents, printing business cards with our contact details, and puting the last of our stuff in storage. Of course we're excited about seeing new things, but the past few days have been such a whirlwind of activity that we're probably more excited about finally being done with all the packing and repacking.
Marita's shooing me out of the hotel, so we'll have to catch up later. In Korea!
